Seminar Camper Returns from Israel

“Out of all the programs that I have done with CISV seminar camp is the most rewarding. It brings together all the things I have learned throughout my other programs. We were no longer the taught, but the participants and staff worked together to run our camp.  There was a freedom that I had not experienced before, and I found it to be life changing. It truly was one of the most enjoyable times
in my life,” – said Whit who recently returned from a Seminar Camp in Israel
where he spent 3 weeks exploring global issues with
other 17 and 18 year olds from around the world.

Youth Meeting Delegate to Spain-Observations

“My youth meeting in Spain was one of the most unique CISV camp experiences I have ever had. Through simple and interesting conversations we were able to learn so much about each other and our countries, and I now feel more knowledgeable because of it,”  – remarked CISV Jax delegate Olivia after attending a 2-week international youth meeting with participants from the UK, Sweden, Japan, France, Italy, Croatia, Germany, Spain, Lithuania, Lebanon and China.

Prague Interchange Back from Busy Times

“My most favorite CISV experience was the interchange this year because I made so many friends.I made friends in our delegation, the Czech delegations, and even the German and Swedish delegations we met during minicamps. We laughed all the time and learned valuable information.”

“I was new to CISV and a bit nervous to be leading an interchange, but I had a great group of kids and a co-leader who made it a phenomenal experience for me.   We shared so many laughs and memories and became a big, crazy family. They showed me exactly what it means to be a part of CISV and I am thrilled to have had this opportunity.” – Brittney, Interchange Leader

“This is my first Youth Meeting, and it was even better than I could ever possibly imagine! I made 29 incredibly close friends from 13 countries around the world in only two weeks, I experienced an entirely new piece of the country that I call home, and I learned so much about different cultures, foods, lifestyles, and just about people in general. I wish I could go back and stay there forever!” -Raya, age 16

“My first Step Up and CISV experience was too incredible for words. Being able to work with individuals from across the globe and foster an environment in which kids can blossom into young adults is indescribable. I wouldn’t change anything about my experience for the world!”
-Alexandra, leader of Spain Step Up.

Italy Step Up Reflects on Experience

“A half a year ago I did not know what CISV was or what those letters stood for; I can now not imagine my life without it. This camp experience taught me so much about myself and how truly big, and yet small, the world is.” – Austin, delegation leader.
