Internships

CISV Jacksonville offers internship opportunities each semester, particularly over summer break. CISV can provide opportunities over winter break also.

Interns are responsible for coordinating credit hours for the internship if desired.

Internships are unpaid; however, for hard-working and effective candidates, we can offer a fixed or hourly honorarium to be negotiated when the internship begins.

The time commitment for internships can be flexible and can range from 5 and 25 hours per week.

Internships can be structured to include topics and tasks of interest to the interns. Three types of internships are described in the drop down menus under internships.  CISV can also work with you to create an appropriate “capstone” project for the UNF Honors degree or similar programs.

CISV (formerly known as Children’s International Summer Villages) was founded after World War II on the belief that that peace is possible through friendship – and that the real difference can be made by starting with children. CISV Jacksonville is one of over 20 U.S. chapters of CISV. More information about the Jacksonville Chapter of CISV is available at www.cisvjax.org.
